HANDS’ is a classic example of organization evolution and a case study for development professionals. The organization came into being as a result of compassionate approach by a group of Community Development Consultants towards supporting needy communities especially women and children in the Coastal Region of Kenya.

HANDS’ targets mainly women, children, disabled persons and the youth  who comprise a greater percentage of Kenya’s population. We believe that working with such groups as instruments of change contributes to long-term, sustainable and tangible benefits.The disabled persons in Kenya like many African Countries is a forgotten lot and  HANDS will aim at working with institions and other NGO, CBOs that address the plight of the disabled persons since disability is not inability.
